The waiting game....

I really wish doctors could be more up front.... For instance it would have been nice to know that progress forward can be reversed. Imagine my surprise when after last weeks visit everything with baby was moving forward and figuring it would be more of the same this week, the doctor said that we have essentially taken a step backward!!!!! Emotions of disappointment, frustration, disbelief flooded me. I understand that there are people who love being pregnant, who find the experience magical. This has not been me and patience is hard being so close to the end. I just desperately want my back not to hurt, to wear my jeans (ones that have button fly, or a zipper, or fit because my butt not my belly holds them up), to not be so emotional, to have my body back. I feel like I have played host long enough and this party guest needs to take a hint and get out. Well, here's hoping for forward progress......
